Datapaq is an industrial temperature-profiling brand within Fluke Process Instruments. Its systems combine multichannel data loggers, thermocouples, protective thermal barriers, and analysis software to measure products and processes while they travel through ovens, furnaces, and other demanding manufacturing environments.
History
An official Fluke Process Instruments corporate brochure dates Datapaq's founding to 1984. The same chronology records that Fluke bought Datapaq in 2006 and introduced Fluke Process Instruments in 2015. Fluke Process Instruments now presents Datapaq together with the Raytek and Ircon brands as a combined industrial-temperature portfolio rather than as a separate current corporate identity.
Datapaq's core contribution to that portfolio is through-process temperature profiling. Current Oven Tracker systems collect measurements from inside industrial ovens and turn the logger data into profiles and reports used to evaluate curing, coating, and other heat-treatment processes. Furnace Tracker systems extend the approach to hostile heat-treatment environments, using protected loggers, thermocouples, and software for temperature surveys and process analysis.
The continuing use of the Datapaq name on current Fluke Process Instruments systems shows that it remains an active product brand. This draft therefore treats Datapaq as an acquired brand, not as an independent manufacturer. Historical manuals bearing the Datapaq name remain valuable because they document the logger, barrier, telemetry, and Insight software combinations used by particular generations of the profiling systems.
