Information we collect

We collect information needed to operate the library, account system, contributor submission workflow, moderation tools, and security controls.

If you browse the public library, we may process basic request information such as pages requested, timestamps, IP address, browser details, and operational log data.

If you sign in or submit files, we may store contributor account details, upload metadata, moderation actions, review decisions, sign-in events, and operational logs.

Google sign-in

When you sign in with Google, Google provides us with basic profile information authorized by the sign-in flow.

This may include your email address, Google account identifier, display name, profile information, and whether Google reports your email address as verified.

We use Google sign-in information only to authenticate your account, create or update your contributor profile, protect private review areas, prevent abuse, and maintain account audit records.

We do not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, calendar, or other Google account content.

Contributor uploads

Contributor-submitted files and related review metadata may be retained for moderation, duplicate detection, malware scanning, publication decisions, and legal compliance purposes.

Submission hints such as manufacturer, model, title, and contributor notes are used to evaluate, organize, and review uploaded documents.

Uploaded files are private by default while they are scanned, checked, and reviewed. Approved documents may be published into the library.

How we use information

We use collected information to provide search and document access, authenticate users, manage contributor accounts, process submissions, detect duplicates, scan for malware, review documents, investigate abuse, enforce site policies, and maintain service reliability.

We may also use information to respond to copyright, security, legal, or operational requests.

Sharing

We do not sell contributor account information.

We may share information when needed to operate hosting, storage, security, logging, or infrastructure services; comply with law; respond to valid legal requests; protect the service; or investigate abuse.

Published documents and associated public catalog metadata may be visible to visitors after review approval.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to operate the service, preserve review history, detect duplicate or abusive submissions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce policies.

Operational logs may be retained for security, debugging, and reliability purposes.

Your choices

You can choose not to use Google sign-in or contributor upload features.

You may contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of account information, subject to operational, legal, security, and abuse-prevention needs.

Security

We use reasonable technical and administrative measures intended to protect contributor accounts, private uploads, and review data.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and users should avoid submitting sensitive personal information that is not needed for document review.
