Keysight is an independent electronic design, test, and measurement company formed from Agilent Technologies in 2014. It inherited the principal Hewlett-Packard and Agilent electronic-instrument lineage and supports oscilloscopes, meters, signal and network analyzers, sources, power instruments, calibration systems, software, and newer quantum-test platforms.
History
Agilent announced the separation of its electronic measurement business in 2013, established Keysight as a legal entity in 2014, and completed the spin-off on November 1, 2014. Keysight began independent public trading shortly afterward. The new company received Agilent's electronic measurement portfolio, which itself descended from Hewlett-Packard's original test-and-measurement operation, so some long-running model numbers appear under all three names.
Keysight expanded its multi-vendor calibration capability by acquiring Primary Standards North America in 2014 and later broadened its software, communications, automotive, semiconductor, and quantum offerings. The manuals in this catalog remain centered on physical electronic measurement: oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, signal and spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, power analyzers, sources, and associated calibration and service documentation.
