History

Krohn-Hite's official history begins in 1949 with the Model 410A ultra-low-frequency, low-distortion oscillator. The company records an ultra-low variable-frequency filter in 1950, a pushbutton oscillator covering 0.001 hertz to 100 kilohertz in 1952, a 50-watt low-distortion amplifier in 1954, and a direct-coupled amplifier spanning DC to 1 megahertz in 1958. Those early products established the oscillator, filter, and amplifier disciplines visible throughout the older manual collection.

The current official site continues that instrumentation lineage with active and programmable filters, power and wideband amplifiers, DC calibrators, precision resistance products, and preamplifiers.
